Hari Kedelapan (13 Februari 2023)
Pastor Herry Zet Purasa MSC memimpin perayaan ekaristi pada pagi ini. Para penanggungjawab liturgi adalah komunitas Provinsialat dan Rumah Induk.
Dalam renungannya, Pastor Henry menyentil beberapa hal dari bacaan Kitab Suci: Pertama, dari kisah Kain membunuh Habel karena iri hati dan kemarahan (Kej. 4:1-15.25). Pelajaran penting bagi kita adalah kemarahan yang menyebabkan hati panas, muka muram dan tidak bersahabat, hati gelisah, cemas, takut. Itu karena dosa yang sedang bercokol di hati kita masing-masing. Kedua, dalam Injil (Mrk. 8:11-13), kaum farisi datang kepada Yesus untuk meminta tanda. Namun, Yesus tidak memberikan tanda apa pun pada mereka. Itu karena mereka tidak memiliki kemurnian hati. Hati mereka tertutup untuk mengakui kuasa Yesus, sehingga apa pun tanda yang diberikan mereka tidak akan pernah percaya. Ketiga, hari ini kita mengadakan pemilihan provinsial yang baru. “Mohon kepada Tuhan agar kita memiliki hati yang murni untuk memilih salah satu nominasi calon pemimpin. Kita percaya bahwa siapa pun yang kelak terpilih adalah yang terbaik bagi tarekat kita. Mereka pantas mengubah apa yang kita gumuli menjadi kantong baru dan memberikan anggur yang menyegarkan bagi tarekat kita.
Bila hati kita keras dan buta, siapa pun yang kelak terpilih menjadi pemimpin akan membuat tarekat kita tetap bergumul dalam kantong yang lama.”
Pukul 8.00 WITA acara dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian revisi tentang masa transisi pemimpin provinsi oleh Pastor Yance yang dimoderatori oleh Pastor Igo Welerubun MSC. Ia menjelaskan, dari poin-poin revisi statuta, poin tentang masa transisi mendesak untuk dibahas.
Agenda berikut adalah penyampaian progres pembangunan Gedung Provinsialat yang baru. Pastor Hubertus Berry Pareira MSC mengungkapkan, saat ini pembangunan sudah sampai pada tahap penyelesaian tiang pancang.
Acara dilanjutkan dengan pemilihan Provinsial dan Wakil Provinsial MSC Indonesia. Ketua Kapitel, Pastor Samuel Maranresy MSC mengarahkan tim penghitung suara untuk menghitung jumlah suara yang aktif. Jumlah suara aktif adalah 44 orang (semuanya hadir). Mereka yang berhak memilih dipersilakan untuk menuliskan nama nominasi. Kemudian nama-nama calon Pemimpin Provinsi dibacakan oleh tim penghitung suara. Proses ini melalui dua tahap.
Berdasarkan hasil penghitungan suara, Pastor Samuel Maranresy MSC terpilih kembali sebagai Provinsial baru untuk periode yang kedua yakni 2023 – 2026. Para peserta kapitel memberikan ucapan selamat kepada provinsial baru dengan tepuk tangan meriah.
Pemilihan Wakil Provinsial diadakan pada pukul 16.00 WITA. Setelah melalui pemungutan suara, Pastor Ignatius Wong Sani Saliwardaya MSC terpilih menjadi Wakil Provinsial yang baru.
Para konfrater yang akan menjadi utusan Kapitel Umum di Roma pada bulan September – Oktober 2023 mendatang, berdasarkan hasil pemilihan Kapitulares adalah Pastor Gregorius Hertanto Dwi Wibowo MSC (Utusan I), Pastor Ignatius Welerubun MSC (Utusan II), Pastor Sulvisius Jonny Astanto MSC (Utusan III), Pastor Aloysius Ho Tombokan MSC (Utusan IV), Bruder Yohanis Yani Watti MSC (Utusan Cadangan I), dan Pastor Hendrikus Nyong Wawo MSC (Utusan Cadangan II).
Kapitulares melanjutkan sidang pada pukul 20.00 WITA, untuk mendengarkan presentasi Pastor Patris Jeujanan MSC tentang Yayasan Kasih Mulia. (Tim Sekretariat)
Eighth Day (February 13, 2023)
Father Herry Zet Purasa MSC led the Eucharistic celebration this morning. Entrusted with the liturgy were the Provincial community and the Main House.
In his reflection, Father Henry touched on several things from the Scriptures: Firstly, the story of Cain killing Abel out of jealousy and anger (Gen. 4:1-15.25). An important lesson for us is that anger causes a steaming heart, a gloomy and unfriendly face, a restless heart, anxiety and fear. The reason is because of sin that is entrenched in each of our hearts. Secondly, in the Gospel (Mark 8:11-13), the Pharisees came to Jesus asking for a sign. However, Jesus did not give any signs to them because they didn’t possess a pure heart. Their hearts were closed to acknowledge the power of Jesus, so that whatever sign given they would never believe anyway. Thirdly, on this day the meeting were holding new provincial elections. “Pray to God that we may possess a pure heart to choose one of the nominees as a leader. We believe that whoever is elected will be the best for our congregation. They deserve to transform our struggles into new vessels and provide refreshing wine for the congregation. For us. If our hearts are hard and blinded, whoever will be elected as leader will make our congregation continue to struggle in the old vessel.”
At 8.00 a.m. proceedings continued with the presentation of revisions regarding the transition period for provincial leaders by Father Yance moderated by Father Igo Welerubun MSC. He explained, from the points of the revision of the statute, the points regarding the transitional period were the most urgent to be discussed.
The next agenda was the presentation of the progress of the construction of the new Provincial Building. Father Hubertus Berry Pareira MSC revealed, the current construction has reached the stage of completion of the piles.
Proceedings continued with the election of MSC Indonesia Provincial and Deputy Provincial. The Chairman of the Chapter, Father Samuel Maranresy MSC directed the voting committee to count the number of active votes. The number of active votes were 44 people (all present). Those who were entitled to vote were welcome to write down the names of the nominees. Afterwards, the names of the Provincial Leader candidates were read out by the voting committee. This process went through two stages.
Based on the results of the vote count, Father Samuel Maranresy MSC was re-elected as the new Provincial for a second period, 2023 – 2026. The chapter participants congratulated the new Provincial with a standing ovation.
The Deputy Provincial Election were to be held at 04.00 p.m. After carrying out voting, Pastor Ignatius Wong Sani Saliwardaya MSC was elected as the new Deputy Provincial.
The confreres who will be envoys for the General Chapter in Rome in September – October 2023, based on the results of the participant’s election, are Fatehr Gregorius Hertanto Dwi Wibowo MSC (Envoy I), Father Ignatius Welerubun MSC (Envoy II), Pastor Sulvisius Jonny Astanto MSC (Envoy III), Father Aloysius Ho Tombokan MSC (Envoy IV), Brother Yohanis Yani Watti MSC (Reserve Envoy I), and Father Hendrikus Nyong Wawo MSC (Reserve Envoy II).
Participants continued the meeting at 08.00 p.m., to hear Father Patris Jeujanan MSC’s presentation about the Kasih Mulia Foundation. (Secretariat Team)
