Hari Kelima (10 Februari 2023)
Para peserta mengawali hari dengan misa pagi yang dipimpin oleh Pastor Joseph Frederik Rettob MSC, akrab disapa.Pastor Oce. Penanggungjawab liturgi adalah komunitas daerah MSC Jakarta, Kalimantan Barat dan Sumatera Selatan.
Pastor Oce mengajak kapitulares merenungkan tiga hal. Pertama, kedatangan para peserta dari pelbagai daerah untuk duduk bersama dalam forum ini harus dimaknai sebagai kehendak untuk menyampaikan kekayaan-kekayaan rohani sebagai wujud kecintaan akan terekat ini. Kedua, para peserta perlu mengingat jasa-jasa para pendahulu yang telah berjuang meneteskan darah, keringat dan air mata untuk melanjutkan karya misi di tempat-tempat yang sulit dan jauh. Semua ini terjadi karena mereka digerakkan oleh Roh Allah.
Ketiga, pentingnya selalu memanjatkan rasa syukur dapat bekerja di kebun anggur Tuhan, yang tugas utamanya untuk menyelamatkan jiwa-jiwa. Pastor Oce mengutip kata-kata Pater Chevalier. “Bukankah itu merupakan sebuah penghargaan yang luar biasa bagi kita yakni bahwa kita terpanggil untuk bekerja mengolah kebun anggur itu, sehingga keringat kita berbaur dengan keringat para rasul dan dengan keringat banyak orang dalam usaha penyebaran Injil.”
Sidang Kedelapan
Dimulai pada pukul 8.00 WITA, sidang kali ini dipimpin oleh Pastor Ignasius Welerubun MSC. Topik pembahasan sidang adalah tata kelola dan pemerintahan.
Narasumber Pastor Johanis Mangkey MSC membawakan tema “Spiritualitas Tata Kelola Religius MSC”. Pokok-pokok pembahasan yang disampaikan adalah keutamaan hidup dan kepemimpinan Pater Jules Chevalier serta tata kelola yang dijiwai oleh Spiritualitas Hati.
Selanjutnya, Pastor Johanis Ohoitimur MSC menyampaikan presentasi yang berjudul “Tata Kelola dan Kemimpinan di Zaman Baru”. Beliau menjelaskan tentang tata kelola dan kepemimpinan, model-model kepemimpinan (Integrative Leadership), rekomendasi untuk transformasi tata kelola, siklus pelaksanaan dan evaluasi program.
Sidang Kesembilan
Dimulai pada pukul 16.00 WITA, moderator Pastor Igo menjelaskan, topik bahasan sidang adalah teknologi, administrasi dan dokumentasi.
Narasumber pertama, Pastor Alexander Sisko MSC mengajak kapitulares untuk makin menyadari betapa teknologi informasi dan digital sangat berpengaruh terhadap hidup dan karya pelayanan tarekat. Meskipun belum optimal, sejauh ini tarekat telah memanfaatkan teknologi dengan baik. Penggunaan teknologi adalah sarana yang efektif dan efisien untuk melakukan pekerjaan administratif dan dokumentasi, terutama untuk mewartakan dan mempromosikan hidup dan karya pelayanan serta penyebaran Spiritualitas Hati. Ia berharap, dengan spirit kolaborasi para anggota dapat bersinergi demi mewartakan Injil baik di universe maupun metaverse.
Selanjutnya, Pastor Yosep Harbelubun MSC memaparkan tentang hal-hal yang telah dilakukan Kantor Sekretariat Provinsi untuk mendokumentasikan dan mengarsipkan aktivitas serta data-data penting tarekat dan anggota. Aplikasi dan sistem pendataan anggota berbasis teknologi digital sedang dibuat. Sekretaris Provinsi menjalankan tugas-tugas tersebut dengan memperhatikan seruan-seruan Kapitel Klender 2017 dan Musyawarah Provinsi 2020 yaitu menata dan memberdayakan Sekretariat Provinsi sebagai pusat pelayanan serta pelaksana pemerintahan dan administrasi Provinsi yang semakin profesional. Sidang berakhir pada pukul 19.00 WITA.
Pada malam hari, para kapitulares mengisi waktu dengan studi pribadi dan rekreasi bersama.
Day Five (10 February 2023)
The participants began the day with a morning Mass led by Father Joseph Frederik Rettob MSC, who is familiarly called Pastor Oce. Those in charge of the liturgy were the regional communities of MSC Jakarta, West Kalimantan and South Sumatra.
Pastor Oce invited participants to reflect on three things. First, the arrival of participants from various regions to sit together in this forum must be interpreted as a desire to convey spiritual wealth as a form of love for this congregation. Secondly, the participants need to remember the services of their predecessors who have struggled to shed blood, sweat and tears to continue the mission work in difficult and far places. All of this happened because they were moved by the Spirit of God.
Thirdly, the importance of always being grateful to be able to work in God’s vineyard, whose primary task is to save souls. Pastor Oce quoted Fr Chevalier’s words. “Isn’t that a great honor for us, namely that we are called to work cultivating the vineyard, so that our sweat is mingled with the sweat of the apostles and with the sweat of many people in the effort to spread the Gospel.”
Eighth Session
Starting at 8.00 a.m., this session was chaired by Father Ignasius Welerubun MSC. The topic of discussion at the session was administration and governance.
Expert speaker Father Johanis Mangkey MSC presented the theme “Spirituality of MSC Religious Management”. The main points of discussion presented were the virtues of Fr. Jules Chevalier’s life and leadership as well as governance imbued with Spirituality of the Heart.
Next, Father Johanis Ohoitimur MSC delivered a presentation entitled “Governance and Leadership in the New Age”. He explained about administration and leadership, models of leadership (Integrative Leadership), recommendations for transformation of governance, implementation cycle and also program evaluation.
Ninth Session
Starting at 04.00 p.m, moderator Father Igo explained, the topics discussed in the session were technology, administration and documentation.
The first guest speaker, Father Alexander Sisko MSC invited the participants to become more aware of how information and digital technology greatly affect the life and work of the congregation’s ministry. Although not optimal, so far, the congregation has made good use of technology. The use of technology is an effective and efficient means for carrying out administrative and documentation work, especially for proclaiming and promoting the life and work of ministry and spreading the Spirituality of the Heart. He hopes, with the spirit of collaboration, the members can work together to spread the Gospel in both the universe and the metaverse.
Afterwards, Father Yosep Harbelubun MSC explained about the things that have been done by the Provincial Secretariat Office to document and archive activities and important data of congregations and members. Applications and member registration systems based on digital technology are being developed. The Provincial Secretary carries out these tasks, paying attention to the calls of the 2017 Klender Chapter Meeting and the 2020 Provincial Conference, namely to organize and empower the Provincial Secretariat as a service center as well as implementing provincial government and administration to become more professional. The session ended at 07.00 p.m.
In the evening, the participants passed the time with private study and corporate recreation.
